DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNOLOGY
Circulation loss is a complication, which occurs during the well drilling process. The problem of сirculation loss can also be encountered when carrying out a squeeze cementing. Fractures and caverns in formation cause catastrophic absorption of drilling fluids and cement slurries. Effective circulation loss control allows eliminating these problems, significantly save time and financial resources.
LOST CIRCULATION ROOT CAUSES
- Fracturing reservoir properties: the presence of pores and fractures, permeability (the ability of the rock to pass liquids and gases), saturation (the content of oil, gas in the sedimentary interstices).
- Tectonic disturbances (various kinds of displacement, fractures, caverns).
- FORMATION PRESSURE.

It is used to eliminate catastrophic losses of drilling mud, and as a lost circulation material before cementing casing strings. Recommended to be used to control lost circulation in fractured-cavernous and cavernous rocks, as well as in the absence of pressure build-up during injection of large bridging agents.

This means that QUICK-STONE ™ within a few minutes passes from liquid to solid state, that blocks the flow of gas, water or oil in the channel faces.
The QuickStone ™ system is characterized by a controlled rapid strength development time, accurate to the minute. The system thickening time depends only on the formation temperature in the area of application. After thickening, the composition is easily removed from the bottom hole zone (easily drilled out), and is also capable of completely dissolving in hydrochloric acid (15% by weight).
During the delivery of material through the pipe space (during the lost circulation control works), the material is in a liquid state, and the prescription is prepared so that after flowing out of the pipe and the estimated filling of the repair zone by the system, the material sets within 2-5 minutes.

These contaminants do not have a negative effect on the shrinkage of the material, on the process of its thickening, changes are observed only in a decrease in the strength properties of the obtained sample.

OsnoPlug ™ is a crosslinkable polymer with adjustable setting time.
Osno Plug S ™ is an acid-soluble form of the composition.
TECHNOLOGY
Before the crosslinking, the composition is a flexible, fluid liquid. Preparation is possible both in the mud mixing system on the drilling rig and using standard cementing equipment. The rheological characteristics of the composition allow the introduction of colmatants of all known types. An elastic gel, which is obtained after the cross-linking, has a good adhesion to metal and rock.
The way of proceeding is based on the ability of the composition to gelation in a predetermined time after mixing.

Applied for controlling of circulation losses of low and medium intensity, killing of wells. The temperature range of OsnoPlug ™ technology application is from 10 to 70 ° С, OsnoPlug S ™ - from 10 to 50 ° С.

- the presence of hydrogen sulfide aggression in the circulation loss interval.
