Application
As a highly effective acid-soluble bridging agent that minimizes the drilling mud filtrate invasion into permeable reservoirs. UMC is used as a density regulator - a weighting agent for clay and clayless drilling fluids.
The required concentration of UMC in the drilling fluid and the fractional composition are selected based on the properties of the productive formation.
Features
- When acidizing the formation, UMC completely decomposes with the formation of water and carbon dioxide.
