DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNOLOGY
The company offers chemical solutions and services for enterprises of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, coal mining, pipe and tubing production, chemical and mining processing industry, oil and gas processing, agricultural, utilities and other industries.
WORK STAGES
- Examination of wastewater treatment system or sludge dewatering with the purpose of study of equipment condition and features of a technological workflow;
- Laboratory selection of the most effective reagents and their dosages according to wastewater samples and sludge samples;
- Development of a scientifically grounded program of reagent treatment of water subject to the type of the treatment/dewatering system, wastewater/sludge characteristics, customer's requirements to quality of wastewater treatment and sludge moisture;
- Supply, installation and further constant maintenance of dosimeters and installations, carried out by service engineers of the company;
- Conduct of pilot tests of reagents;
- Timely supply of a wide range of own chemical products;
- Constant monitoring of water quality, corrosion rate, scaling and bio-contamination processes.

AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL DOSING AND MONITORING SYSTEMS
The system allows to:
- measure and control the following parameters apart from the main parameters (flow, temperature, pressure, etc.):
- рН;
- electrical conductivity;
- water shutdown;
- corrosion rate;
- turbidity, chlorine content, chemicals content;
- thickness of the biological film;
- biological contamination (total microbial count).
- Calculate vaporization coefficient, control blowdown water and feed water;
- Control reactant treatment process.
The system can be fully integrated into automatic process control system of the plant.
Competent management of the reverse water supply system will allow to:
- reduce consumption of fresh river water and waste water discharges;
- monitor the quality of circulating and feed water;
- create a database of reverse water supply system operation and circulating water quality parameters;
- meet the standard requirements
METALLURGICAL PLANT (THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN)
Cooperation of the Metallurgical Plant and Water Circulation System Service Business Unit started in 2014 from complex energy inspection (inspection of heat and power supply networks) and inspection of water services. The following types of work were carried out within the framework of this cooperation:
- Calculation of heat and energy consumption;
- Calculation of heat and energy losses in networks;
- Determination of current dependencies of heat and energy consumption on the volume of output;
- Hydraulic calculation;
- Determination of temperature regimes at the place of production;
- Determination of corrosiveness and scaling intensity of circulating and feed water;
- Determination of biological contamination of circulating and feed water;
- Analysis of the chemical composition of circulating and feed water of water circulation cycles.
In 2015 pilot tests of reagents were performed with respect to the water-circulation circuit of the oxygen compressor shop.
Results:
- Complex application of reagents enabled to accomplish identified goals on reduction of corrosion and scaling processes, biological fouling and also ensured compliance with standard operating parameters of compressor equipment and prevention of clogging of heat exchange equipment;
- Based on results of pilot industrial tests a program was developed for reagent treatment of the water-circulation circuit of the oxygen compressor shop, which was implemented in 2015 and has been held to the present day.
Based on the inspection results a report was prepared and recommendations were issued indicating corrective measures aimed at solving the identified problems.
Complex application of reagents allowed to accomplish identified goals for reducing corrosion and scaling processes, biological fouling and also ensured compliance with standard operating parameters of compressor equipment and prevention of clogging of heat exchange equipment.

RUSSIAN REFINERY (SAMARA OBLAST)
- Description
Pilot tests of reagents of Water Circulation System Service Business Unit were performed at the circulating water supply unit in accordance with prepared and approved program of pilot testing.
Pilot test objectives:
- Ensuring of corrosion rates of carbon steel at the level not more than 0.1 mm / year; corrosion rate of copper-bearing alloys not more than 0.05 mm / year;
- Reduction of scaling in the heat exchange equipment and pipelines;
- Reduction of development of microbiological fouling in the system, keeping of a total microbial count in circulating water less than 10^4 CFU/ml.
Results
On application of Scimol WS-2906 corrosion inhibitor the average corrosion rate of carbon steel was 0.0921 mm / year, which conforms to the standard value (not more than 0.1 mm / year); the average value of corrosion rate of brass was 0.0076 mm / year, which conforms to the standard value (not more than 0.05 mm / year).
The average value of hardness transport index was 0.92 on application of Descum-2 H-3907-C scaling inhibitor during testing period; that indicates a low probability of carbonate deposits in the heat exchange equipment and pipelines.
On complex application of Atren-bd 4903A biodispersant and Atren-bio 4907 biocides and the average level of biocontamination (total microbial count) was approximately 10^4 CFU/ml, which conforms to the standard value (total microbial count less than 10^5 CFU/ml).
REFINERIES
- Description
In January 2015 dosing of reagents produced by Water Circulation System Service Business Unit was organized at the units of circulating water supply.
Results
Recession of level of biological contamination of circulating water, as evidenced by the analysis of the R&D Shop, as well as no new biological fouling is visualized in the cooling towers and also currently used reagents wash old biological and carbonate deposits in the cooling towers.
Even subject to a high degree of mineralization of circulating water (electrical conductivity is up to 5000 m S/cm, chloride content is up to 1200 mg/l), the old carbonate deposits in the cooling towers got crumbly and could be washed.
RUSSIAN REFINERY (SAMARA OBLAST)
- Description
Pilot tests of reagents of Water Circulation System Service Business Unit were performed at the refinery in accordance with prepared and approved program of pilot testing.
Pilot test objectives:
- Ensuring of corrosion rates of carbon steel at the level not more than 0.1 mm / year; corrosion rate of copper-bearing alloys not more than 0.05 mm / year;
- Reduction of scaling in the heat exchange equipment and pipelines;
- Reduction of development of microbiological fouling in the system, keeping of a total microbial count in circulating water less than 10^4 CFU/ml.
Results
On application of Scimol WS-2906 corrosion inhibitor the average corrosion rate of carbon steel was 0.049 mm/year and 0,062 mm/year, which conforms to the standard value (not more than 0.1 mm/year); the average value of corrosion rate of brass was 0.019 mm / year, which conforms to the standard value (not more than 0.05 mm / year);
The average value of hardness transport index was 1.61 on application of Descum-2 H-3907-C scaling inhibitor during testing period; that indicates a low probability of carbonate deposits in the heat exchange equipment and pipelines; standard value (reached not less than 0,80);
On complex application of Atren-bd 4903A biodispersant and Atren-bio 4907 biocides and the average level of biocontamination (total microbial count) was approximately 10^4 CFU/ml, which conforms to the standard value (total microbial count less than 10^5 CFU/ml).
