TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF FLOCCULANT PREPARATION STATION (FAB-MINI UNIT)
INTRODUCTION
FAB-mini unit for flocculant solution preparation is designed for dissolving granular (powder) flocculants in water to the desired concentration and dosing of ready-mix flocculant solution. The unit operates in fully automatic mode, operation algorithm is assigned using a special controller in the control cabinet. The unit can be also operated in the manual mode.
FAB-MINI UNIT CONSISTS OF THREE MAIN PARTS:
- 1. Solution preparation station is intended for diluting chemical with water to the desired concentration. It is controlled separately by a controller in the control cabinet. The preparation station consists of:
- sealed storage hopper of 100 kg (stock for two days of operation) with screw doser of dry powder (flocculants);
- dry powder wetting unit with air blower;
- 1 m3 plastic container for flocculant solution preparation with a stainless steel stirrer with rotation speed of up to 290 rpm;
- impeller pump with variable frequency drive to pump ready-mix solution to the storage (supply) tank;
- touch screen Siemens controller based control cabinet, IP-55 dust-proof and water-proof with protection against unauthorized access;
- ultrasonic level sensors, magnetic valves, shut-off valves, self-washing filter (on the water feed line), piping.
- 2 m3 plastic storage (supply) tank, equipped with level sensors, intended for storage of ready-mix flocculant solution.
- Two systems for dilution and dosing (one in operation, the second is backup), intended for additional dilution of ready-mix flocculant solution with water and feeding to injection points. Dilution and dosing system consists of:
- water supply unit for dilution with screen filter and rota-meter (pressure reducer);
- pumping unit for feeding the flocculant solution to injection points;
- control cabinet with visualization of the pumping unit condition;
- magnetic valves, shut-off valves, piping.
Additional materials and equipment:
- Honeywell F76S water filter with automatic flushing – 1 pc.
- DU 38 hoses - 300 m.
- Shut-off valves, clamps, adapters - 1 set.
FAB-MINI UNIT SPECIFICATIONS
- The possibility of preparing aqueous flocculant solution with concentration from 0.1 to 1%;
- Maximum capacity of the unit with solution concentration of 0.5%, 2000 l/hour;
- One main and one backup pumping units for feeding the flocculant solution;
- The ripening time for preparation of solution, 30-90 min;
- Maximum power consumption, 3-6 kW;
- Rated voltage, 380 V 50 Hz;
- Control system for preparation and dosing of flocculant with Siemens controller in control cabinet with operator touch panel. Software backup on the memory card;
- The unit is equipped with an impeller pump with variable frequency drive for pumping ready-mix flocculant solution from preparation station to storage tank;
- Preparation station and storage (supply) tank are equipped with ultrasonic level sensors;
- Dimensions: solution preparation station – 1.32х1.10х2.10 m; dilution and dosing system – 1.40х0.70х1.60 m; storage tank – 2.0х0.73х1.66 m. Space for installation of the unit's elements: not less than 2.5x3.0 m;
- Supply of water free of additives (suspended solids content up to 20 mg/l) for preparation and additional dilution of flocculant solution, temperature +10...+25 °C, minimum pressure 3 bar, nominal water pressure 5 bar, flow up to 5 m3/hour;
- Ambient temperature requirements in the location of unit: +5...+45 °C;
- Protection of equipment and automation devices not less than IP55;
- Warranty period: 24 months;
- Service life of the unit: not less than 10 years;
- Commissioning tests duration time: 6-10 weeks;
In the event that equipment or elements of the unit become defective during the warranty period, not due to the Customer's fault, equipment or elements of the unit will be replaced at the expense of "Osnova" LLC within 5-14 days.
