The hydrophobizing liquid Osnova of GS brand is an additive to well-killing fluids.
APPLICATION:
Designed to prevent filtration of process fluid in the producing interval when killing wells. Used as an additive to the main well-killing fluid (salt solutions).
CHEMICAL EFFECT:
Features
- reduces the ability of rock to be wetted by reservoir and process water during well bore workover;
- prevents filtration of the well-killing fluid into the reservoir;
- stabilizes the well bottom-hole zone composed of unstable rocks prone to caving and bridgeovers;
- prevents swelling of clay rocks;
- preserves its properties in a wide temperature range (0–120 ˚C).
